Talking propane stoves

Hello All,

I am looking for ideas on cleaning up our stove in our 78 trillium.

I think it is a "Brown" brand name? But i can't be sure? What have you done to make your stove look and work better?

Have you replaced your stove? How was the fit of the new stove compaired to the old hole?

Have you painted your stove? Powder coated? Chrome plated?

Knobs? what do you have? do you know of any suitable replacements?

Pics? I love to see what others are doing. Many Thanks

Kevin

satin finish chrome

Hi Kevin, I bought a 74 Trillium last year and it was in excellent shape, but the stove top was very discolored. We where in a hurry to go on a trip and I could not stand to walk in the trailer and see that stove looking like that.

We have a local plating shop so I went there and decided to get it plated with a stain finish.

The cost was up there but it was quick fix and the stove looks and works great.

A new stove would be better if you can find one the fits.

I have a Brown 2 burner stove also in our 1980 trillium. The Coleman stove tops from that era fit perfectly, so if you can find one of those, you could swap it out. We did that and it looks much better.
