question re: exterior decoration for our casita

Hi my friends!
Saw a pic of a little eggo all painted in hippie flowers and LOVED it!
Can that be done? Were they ever sold that way? Does anybody have one like that or has anybody seen one done like that? What about decals?
Going to try to post the pic.

thanks,
joy

I've seen cars and trucks that have full body decals wrapped on them....usually it's advertising but I betcha they could do flowers. The decal might be a good idea because if you ever change your mind you could always peel it off....just a thought.

I have seen people who scrapbook, that are buying a machine/printer for printing plastic decals at home. I forget it's funny name. I believe you design the decals yourself on the computer...wouldn't that be fabulous, if it worked for exterior quality decals. I've seen stickers for kids bedroom walls, for instance. Has anyone tried this?

I did a vehicle surface with those plastic/rubber magnets that are sold as souvenirs from various destinations. They are totally weatherproof even in sun and snow. I used a flexible glue to put them on.

They come in all shapes and colors and make a travelogue statement for where you have been.

I got a lot of mine from eBay.

I'm a believer in trailer ownership also means being an individual. Paint, decals, stripes, whatever turns your crank.

That being said, an all white trailer (w/original graphics) will get more looks and sell quicker than something wildly personalized, if that matters to you.

Ask Frederick.

somebody like Custom vehicle wraps: full & partial car graphics, wraps and vinyl lettering, fleet graphics and more in Hamilton, Burlington, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, Brantford, Dundas, Niagara, Southern Ontario, ON Canada might be able to help. never used 'em, not recommending 'em, just saw their ad

Ok, I guess I'm blind, can no longer find the attachment feature for photos? I've got a cute photo of my girlfriend's flower power scamp (decals she bought and put on herself). Where is the photo attachement feature please?

Pam, someone asked about hosting pictures elsewhere and I responded they can be uploaded here. Here's my post that explains it, with screenshots. Hope this helps:

OK, again, Donna saves the day. Thanks!

Here's a photo of my gf's flower power trailer that is super sweeeet!
You can get these stickers at http://www.carstickers.com/index.php There's all sorts of shapes and logos, and you can choose many colors and sizes. The placement of stickers would be limited to how the 'curves' on the trailer interfere with the sticker laying flat.

Neato! Nice awning, too

Is there any way you could upload that photo a little larger? I'd love to get a closer look. Thanks for the link, too.

Oh, funny. When I clicked on it it opened in the special window, but at exactly the same size as before I clicked. So it opened larger for you?

Edited to say: Okay, I played around with it. For me it took three clicks. Maybe this will help someone else:

Click 1: Opens it in "special" photo window with black borders (like a slide show). Same size as in post.

Click 2: Opens it by itself, with no special borders, marginally larger but about the same.

Click 3: Enlarges it in that same window.

Joy,
We had a blue & yellow "ribbon" decal added along the sides of our Scamp. We had it done at a local auto graphics place. It makes our Scamp unique & we love it!

I found these beautiful decals and plan on using some on the exterior. I've bought a few butterflies for the new spare tire cover but haven't put them on yet. Also other designs for the interior.

Back in the 70's my mother had a car that she put on the NON SLIP bathtub stickers that kept you from slipping in the shower. They were also flowers. A little smaller but should hold up to the elements. Randy
