roof vent maintenance

looking for a quick fix on a roof vent that leaks on a 13' casita trailer. i plan on gutting it over the spring and want to seal the leak with something that can be removed with out to much hassle but that will still give a good seal for hunting and ice fishing season. any ideas? thanx gator

Butyl caulk is the short term and the long term answer.

I have found Butyl caulk in a tube at Ace hardware for $3-$4 a tube. Butyl tape can be found at an RV dealer less than $10 for 50ft. I have also found it at building supply places. It's used to seal between sheets of galvanized roofing. Check the box because there are other products also used for this purpose.
