Scamp Coaxial Metal End Cap with Chain and Ring

Hello, I see I've lost my coax cap in travel from storage. The ring that slides over the coax port had been disintegrating...no wonder. I have a 2012 Scamp 13.

I can't find the right part anywhere, believe it or not. Does anybody know what company makes the right end cap, with the metal ring that fits over the coax port, and chain?

Grateful for your help,
Wendy

I assume you are referring to the metal connector on the end of the coax cable
The cable connectors are available at HD , Menards , Lowes and most good hardware stores. There are two styles — crimp on and screw on and you need to get the right size for the cable you are using (RG 6?)
The crimp on ends require a crimping tool to lock the end to the cable
It’s a simple task and instructions are supplied with the connectors
I keep a couple spare in my trailer and just replace them as necessary

Coax cap

You can find them on ebay but they come 10 or more to a pack. I just found an old piece of coax and cut one end off.

Custom Cable Group LLC sells them two to a pack for less than $9.00 on Amazon
They have the metal cap/chain/ring combo.

Thank you, I just found the RG6 size screw on cap, with O ring. Bought a ten pack, but believe it or not, was cheaper than a 4 pack. Many different sizes out there...Type N, F. Mine is an F size apparently. Thanks again!

just slip a 1/2 " of those little ball chain things they use on light switches into a regular coax nut hot glue and cut to length. Hot glue again. Voila!!
