screen frame

Does anyone have any idea where I can get aluminum framing to replace a missing window screen on a 1975 trillium?

you may also want to post your request in the *Miscellaneous RV items For Sale or Wanted* section.

There are people who make custom screens. Try the yellow pages.

If you have a building supply near by they may be able to help.

I bought all the parts I needed at a local hardware store- plastic corners and lengths of frame. cut the frame pieces to size, insert the corners and you have a frame. lay the screen overtop and roll the cord into the groove then trim the screen and you're done.
about a 4 on the hard scale, all you need is a hacksaw, screen cord tool and a pair of scissors

BTW, if you use flat black screening, you will be able to see thru it more easily as your eye doesn't try to focus on it (esp true for mosquito headnets, where white nearly makes you blind and black is almost invisible).

Pete and Rats who want no screening so the bugs can come into the rat cage for lunch...

Thanks everyone for the ideas. We have made some of those plastic corner screens for the house and they work well. I was hoping to find framing to match the other existing frames in the trailer. Is this asking too much? The trillium is only 28 years old. Don't laugh at me, just tell me it's impossible. Thanks again.
