They should be press into place and hold but sometimes stuff happens and they don't stay put after pressing them back in. If that is the case go to the hardware store and get a small tube of Lexel.
But if you are in a real hurry grab some gel thick super glue that says it works on metal and plastic and is shock resistant. Be sure you also get something to clean the surfaces, then let dry before you apply the adhesive.
Then of course there is the use duct tape and fix it when you get back home method.
