Don't forget to disconnect the batteries before you cover up the trailer. An even better idea is to remove the batteries and leave them on a maintenance charger.

We put the trailer under a cover with roof supports at front and back and the middle. The cover does not actually touch the trailer, at least in theory, and snow does not build up on it much because of the peaked shape and the wind. In previous years we used a 10 by 10 screen house, but the new trailer is 2 feet longer, so I adapted the screen house frame for the new dimensions (about 8 X 12½) and used different covers, with a tarp on top for this year. I left one side open, since the trailer is not actually damaged by a bit of weather. I started off this year intending to not cover the trailer, but within a couple of weeks the roof was covered in fallen leaves and other debris that made me unhappy to look at it, so I changed it. Pictures below.

I think the boler restoration guy had alot more projects then just the trailer going there. Reminded me of watching the Red Green show.

I loved the Red Green Show...... It was a sorry day when they aired their last episode. I can't even find repeats here in Pa.

Tezha feel your pain tried to tarp ours on Saturday just too windy. It is -20° C or -4° F now and have already cleared 10" of snow off of it. Currently it already has 3” more on it. Will still try get it covered and may try to inside support idea.

I don't think you wanted to put your tongue on the pump handle today.

Another idea if you're tarping, is to turn a large bucket over the top of the vent (if it circles the vent without crushing the lid). If it won't fit, put the bucket someplace else near the center of the roof. Putting the tarp over the top then allows a bit of an a-frame which MAY help the snow slide off.

Well you could bring it to S.W. Texas and park it in my yard, it snowed twice last winter and it was all gone by noon. Just a thought LOL!
