To cover the Air-conditioner or not for winter.

So folks I'm going to be winterizing soon and this is the first year my trailer will be outdoors without heat for the winter.

I'll be putting a battery tender on for the winter to keep it good.

Now I installed a roof air-conditioner last year and am wondering if I should cover it or not.
The area it will be left in does not see much in the way of snow.

Advise please !!!!

I would, but I don't own an A/C either. But I know the top of my trailer gets moldy and mossy and totally grungy when it sits outside for the winter. (Not anymore!) A/Cs are spendy, seems like a very good idea to me to protect it from all that icky stuff.

They make a/c shroud covers, mainly for sun protection. Why not cover the entire trailer, it will be cleaner in the springtime. I do not cover as we tend to use ours in the winter.
