Exclamation

Does anyone have a price estimate for a Trillium 4500 model in good shape. It is the larger 14.5 foot model with no bathroom.

regards,

collin

It is worth what you are comfortable paying for it. :Lot of factors involved. Do you have to do a lot of changes or reno's to make it the way you want it? Any windows leaking or the interior ensolite all in good shape? You can check is the for sale section of this forum to see what people are asking for them and what they sold for. I had my 1300 on here for sale and it was priced a little on the high side but I had installed a new frame and axle, which can add about $1500. to the price real quick. Personally, I would think in the $4000 - $6000 range depending on the trailer but I am sure you will get more qualified answers from the forum members here. Good luck in your search.

Hi Collin. I spent most of last fall and winter watching the "for sale" adds on this site, Kijiji, Craig's list, Bolerama and other on line sites trying to answer this same question.
I purchased a 1980 Trillium 4500 this spring for $4500.00. This was with a working stove, furnace, fridge and new tires. The other factors that made me comfortal with this price was that there were no cracks in the frame, that the electric brakes were in good condition and there was no signs of any leaks. These are the costly items to have repaired or replaced.
Finding it for sale close to home (Edmonton)was also a bonus. There were a couple of other Trillium 4500's and Surfsides of the same size for sale for a few hundred dollars less but the cost of travel to check them out would have ate up any cost difference.

Here in BC the trailer that Brian described would be well over $6000 so it does depend on where you are looking.

Colin,
We purchased our 4500 near Red Deer, AB last year for $5900. Excellent shape, no leaks (yet), redone upholstery, new laminate flooring and curtains.

I may be wrong, but I don't think there is any way to see what trailers sold for on this forum. You can see asking prices, and you can sometimes see that a trailer has sold, but what you don't know is what sort of deal was struck (in other words, trailers don't necessarily sell for the asking price every time).

Hi Collin.

We purchased our 4500 last fall for $5000. It is a front bathroom model, but the toilet had been removed. It has a working 3-way fridge, stove, heater and fantastic fan. Also, a previous owner had installed a 120v hot water heater. The brakes were there but just needed a $140 rebuild.

Everything was clean and in good shape and we're very happy with it.

Hope this helps,
Linda.
