Hi Collin. I spent most of last
fall and winter watching the "for sale" adds on this site, Kijiji, Craig's list, Bolerama and other on line sites trying to answer this same question.
I purchased a 1980
Trillium 4500 this spring for $4500.00. This was with a working stove,
furnace,
fridge and new
tires. The other factors that made me comfortal with this price was that there were no cracks in the frame, that the electric
brakes were in good condition and there was no signs of any
leaks. These are the costly items to have repaired or replaced.
Finding it
for sale close to home (Edmonton)was also a bonus. There were a couple of other
Trillium 4500's and Surfsides of the same size for sale for a few hundred dollars less but the cost of travel to check them out would have ate up any cost difference.
