Modern furnaces have a purge cycle to prevent a build up of vapor / fuel and prevent a fire / explosion. . It is difficult / impossible to purge the burner section without a fan . In many parts of the country ,the use of unvented gas heaters are not allowed due to the build up of monoxide and other toxic fumes in the living space.
The efficiency of furnaces without a fan also often do not meet the energy conservation rules .
A furnace without a fan may be advantageous to those who boondock or camp off grid but that is a minority of campers
I own and use non vented gas appliances / heaters but I recognize the inherent dangers as many on this forum do but L am not sure the general public is well informed
Every winter in the North , we have multiple deaths from the use,of unvented , improperly vented gas heaters.or rusted out fire chambers

We have a similar panel heater in the house. It warms. Thats all you can say for it. I dont know that it would be adequate to heat even a tiny trailer if it was really cold out
