Weatherstripping around Door

We have a 13ft 2007 Scamp and scraped off the disintegrated foam weatherstrip from around where the door closes to the body. Would like to use something else, thicker and more durable. Any suggestions? Thanks

Thanks Steve. Went to that discussion and found just what I needed. Heading out to the auto-parts store.

John here. went to the auto parts found the kind that has the channel and runs along the edge. Seems to make a great seal, although not sure if it can work at the bottom fit of door is awfully tight. I'll have to play with it a bit. It will definitely work long as it stays in place. I did read on the thread to put a few rivets if it does slide. Thanks alot for the info as I was stuck. I didn't want to use the standard foam.

John, Norm in the other thread put a piece of wood on the bottom to make it work. Might have to customize a little bit.

Lowe's has a variety of weatherstripping on their shelves. Another place one can look. I just got some rubber compression tube type weatherstrip for the rear door of my cargo trailer.
