What is this wonderful goop?

Can someone please identify this wonderful sealant which I had such an easy time removing? It's sealed well, but comes up very easily. I love it and I want to get more before replacing this vent. Thanks!
Here's a 10 second video to show the consistency of this stuff.

I get a 404 error on the video, but if it's the gray stuff, that's Butyl.

Shop for Butyl Rubber Sealant Tape.

As you've seen, it remains flexible and adheres well. It's used to seal windows, air conditioners, vents and other items that penetrate the shell.

Or could it just be plain old putty tape, which is also gray. Donna, is it correct that butyl will stretch out but the putty tape just breaks?

Thank you all.

I found the butyl tape under the flange of the fan.

This stuff I'm removing is poured or squirted on and spreads out. It's too organically formed to be a tape.

It might be Tremco Butyl Sealant, available in three colors including "Aluminum Stone".

https://www.tremcosealants.com/marke...butyl-sealant/

Try looking for Butyl Sealants or Butyl Caulk. There's a lot of products out there.

On edit: add -tape to the text in the search reduce the number of hits on tape products.

I'm glad to see that some people answering questions here actually know what they are talking about, unlike me!
