What to price a 1994 16ft Scamp located in MN?

Family has outgrown the Scamp and we will be selling it. We want to fairly price it and are not looking to make $$. It has served its purpose for us, but it is still worth something. It is in reasonable and functional condition, but cosmetically shows its age. Primarily it needs new upholstry in my opinion. Has all the usuals: 16 ft, bathroom, A/C, furnace, frig, stove, screen door, the type of battery that charges running down the road, awning, etc.

Looking for some input on a reasonable asking price.

What an interesting question! Your trailer can be worth from $3,000 to $7,500 depending on it's condition... axle condition, cosmetics and systems.

Probably the best pricing guide is to look through our "Sold" archives at Scamp 16s to see what they've sold for. That will give you a pretty good idea. Typically condition and amenities are a lot more important than age in pricing any trailer more than about five years old.

Good luck in selling yours. They are in demand, especially at reasonable pricing, so it probably won't take long to sell it.
