Where to buy a Surf Side hinge

I've looked at RV places on line until I'm cross eyed. does anyone know of a source for one of these entry door hinges for a TM14 Surf Side. I guess I could adapt something, but I'd rather have another original style hinge like this one:

It's a cast hinge with chrome plating.

Thanks,
Russ

If it's just loose at the pivot you may be able to get it drilled out and a larger pin installed. If by chance it's cast brass it can be brazed up and redrilled.

But, it looks all the world like a marine part and you may be able to find a match in that venue. after all it is a "SURFside" LOL

The photo is of the upper hinge, but the lower one is bent and broken almost in half. pins are tight. they look to be cast aluminum or perhaps pot metal. not something I'd try to weld. marine is a good idea. I'll also look in that area.
I wonder where the Surf Side name came from. it does seem an odd name for a trailer doesn't it.

I believe that there were built on the BC coast.

If so, maybe Steveston Marine: Strap Hinges
But, ouch, the price. Canadian $ though.
Maybe call them and find out who makes it for a source near you.

But see, if I had a rare, impossible to find hinge for a Classic and Rare Surfside who's door was about to fall off, I'd look for $100 USD for the part. So the new one isn't so bad.

You might also look on Amazon and eBay for that hinge. Both have Marine parts sections.

Now you know why they call a boat, "A hole in the water that you throw money into"...LOL

Look at McMaster Carr, lots of hinges there. Try their refrigeration hinges

What I do is do a google search but switch to images and find what I'm looking for. Search for stainless steel strap hinge and you will find a lot of them out there.Strap hinges
