checking my Winterpeg webcam today I see Portage Ave (looking east) has a dusting of that world semi-famous Canadian Grass!! It sure looks good on you 'Peggers too, BTW!!! I gues this cuts short your 'Glamping Season'?? LOL!!!

I'm still out here in my short sleeved T shirt starting to install this seasons 'layer' of Christmas ornaments!!!!

See... I find that funny because most 'Tobans are like those of us from NWOnt: Camping gets better in the cold because lower temperatures keep the mosquitoes, and wimps away.



Actually, sometimes I just think we don't really know any better. lol

Nothing like some weather to keep the riff raff out. Seems to improve the football, though.

I guess that the bright side is that we don`t get the big mudslides or washes from the rains like the coast does...the biggest hill around here is my septic field.... .....also usually rather blow snow than cut grass since I don`t snowmobile any more.....Benny

Benny, I thought the biggest change in elevation in Southern Manlitoba was in St. Boniface at 5 corners?
