12 volt power from the tow vehicle

Hi,
I'm the owner of a 1997 Standard 16ft Scamp. I have a ac only refrigerator. It draws .9 amps and I have purchased an inverter to provide the ac while I am "on the road". Since the draw is about 108 watts that converts to about 10 amps or less coming from my vehicle. Duty cycle would pobably be less than 30%. Thought I would fuse it at 15 amps and get the power from the plug. My question is where to find the pigtail in my scamp. I see that the wires come in on the passenger or door side of my trailer. I can feel a "lump" under the carpet but thought I would ask for first hand experience before I start cutting. Any advice on where best to find that pigtail will be appreciated.
