Hello,
I am getting our '80's
Bigfoot ready to sell and would like some advice on a couple of fixes I'm planning. I plan to remove and reseal a couple of
windows with slight
leaks, plus reseal the centre band and wondering what sealant I should use.
Also we had some rain come in from the vent above the stove and it damaged the panelling so I am going to replace the panelling in that area. I'm sure I won't be able to find the same woodgrain so I'll probably go with a white. Does that sound like a good plan? I can remove the upper cabinet but the lower looks a bit harder due to the
fridge, etc. so I would just bring the new panelling down to the countertop.
The other option would be to just cover the damaged panelling with a backing but not sure how well that would work as there is some flex in the panel.
I'm attaching a photo. Thanks for any advice.
Rick
