18x24" rear side window for a Scamp

I recently purchased a 1981 13' Scamp, It is in quite livable condition. However the previous owner installed an A/C unit in one of the 18x24 window openings, and of course the window is now missing. I am looking for a replacement window, is there anyone who either wants to trade the A/c unit for a window, or know where I can find an RV graveyard, where I can get a crank out window..?

Hi Spencer, if it's just the glass that's missing.. pull the window and take it to a glass shop. If the frame for the window is missing... well, you're talking about a window that hasn't been made for years and you do have a 31 year old trailer. If you can live with it not opening, the glass shop can fix you up.

Or if it's the radius sliding window, Scamp sells them about as cheap as you'll find anywhere.

Good luck!

unfortunately Donna, it is more than just the glass. It is the whole mechanism. Replacing it with a solid sheet of glass isn't a bad idea.

Spencer, glass is cheap in the grand scheme of things and it would get you through while you continue to look and search.

Best of luck!
