1974 Trillium Exterior Window Strip
Have a few minor repairs we need to address on our 1974 Trillium and this is our latest. There is a black strip that "slides" over the screws on the exterior of the windows. One of our strips has disappeared (maybe in the mountains of Colorado or the west end of the U.P.)...and I'm wondering where I could find such an item. I've googled various ways to call it, and having no luck, so hoping someone here can let me know. Thank you!
Looking forward to putting some photos here of our "pod". It's been our pride and joy for over 10 years, and to this day, it is a great time to have people in the big rigs asking if they can look inside our little "Pea pod".
If it weren't for this site, we would not have gotten as far as we have with it.

Hi Donna - I looked up the strip on the link you noted, but that was the rubber stripping that actually acts as "drip" edge at the top of the window (goes right above the glass). Hoping you or someone might know about that black strip - it's more rigid, plastic, but flexible, and goes around the exterior of the window and covers the screws. It just slides into place. I can post a picture if need be. Thank you all for your help!

I just took a picture and added above. Appears to be about 3/4" from top to bottom.

1975 Trillium
For some reason I keep saying it's a 1974, but it is a 1975....I know it doesn't make much difference. But, just in case. Must be the over 40 thing. I'm losing my mind.

Hi David,
Thank you for the link - I was there, but just had a heck of a time locating the exact same thing.
The screen door was made by our neighbor who is a great wood working man. We got the idea years ago from here, and in the Spring of 2012, we decided to ask him if he'd like to tackle it....and it turned out beautiful!! Makes for great breezes in the evening!

Good looking pup there Krysti! What breed?
Let me forwarn you, if you get a second pup that size you will need to upsize to a 4500. Been there, done that.

Ha, ha, ha...that is Lola, our one of three dogs. She is a yellow lab going on five years old. About 65 lbs. Ruby is 10 and is our chocolate lab and is about 72 lbs. We also have a beagle, Lucy who is about 20 lbs and is going on 5 in October. But, in the past on long trips, we just take Miss Ruby. But, we have had both labs on a 3 day canoe trip - it's a sight to see!
We had a gentleman in North Dakota see my husband outside of it in the morning and he said "that's a nice little rig for you - you hunting?". And my husband said "no, my wife and my Labrador are still inside". He said his eyes got as big as saucers.
