1984 Spacemaster by mity lite Inc. Rehab

I was trolling Craig's list and found this trailer about three weeks ago, Most of it was their but the floor was rotted. Now the floor in these things are a bad design so I cut out the top layer of fiberglass and removed the plywood leaving the Plastic belly pan then added two sheet thick 3/4 plywood.
now onto rebuilding the inside. I got everything except the kitchenet . Both benches and the front closet fiberglass panel.
I have installed new flooring and built the subframe for the kitchenet. Not the easiest, due to nothing is square in these things.
I ordered most of the parts on Amazon. Water inlet. grey water outlet, Sink and holding tank for 10 gal Water. Not arrived yet I also ordered the Formica for the counter top and table top from Amazon. Who knew you could get Formica on Amazon
I found the replacement 9" roof vent for the top and have sent the canvas out to a top shop to have it remade. $400.00 Ouch

Starting to put it all back together now and will keep this updated as to my progress

Nice find. Congratulations.
Always nice to see a vintage egg returned to service.

Given the time and the materials required, as well as the skills required, a price of $400.00 for new canvas was a very reasonable price. You did not get overcharged for that work even if it did put a dent in your wallet. So at least you can feel happy about having gotten good value for the dollars spent.
