2008 Outback window leak

We have a 13' 2008 Outback.
It has Sunview windows made by Sunview Industries in Canada.
We have a major leak around the right rear window. The windows have a rubber gasket between the window frame and the fiberglass that is part of the window.
That gasket seems to be in good shape and is not dried out. Can anyone recommend a pliable sealant I can use when I put the window back in that would seal between the rubber gasket on the window and the fiberglass.
I did a water test and the leak is at that gasket not the window drain holes.
Thanks for any recommendations.

Do you think butyl tape would give me a good seal against that rubber gasket?
The gasket will smash down a bit once I put the screws back in the window frame and pull it back together.

I have a couple of small oval windows with a square frame on my trailer. When I replaced the rubber on them there was a gasket that covered all but the top side of the frame. I used Butyl tape between that gasket and the wall of the trailer when I reinstalled the window. Butyl tape remains soft for years, the rubber gasket may not.
