3M Foam fast 74 - Lauan panel to foam

I'm wondering if this product would be suitable gluing paneling to foam insulation. I've heard of people using Spray 77 - I just tested it on some foam and it melted it. Just stumbled on 3m foam fast, wondering if anyone has experience with it.

I also have low VOC contact cement which I've haven't had great results with, maybe its still too cold out here, may have more success with it if it ever warms up here.

Contact 3M and they will help you with the proper product.

I think it's spray 77 that we used to use to secure the hood pads under the hood of a Mercedes. You sprayed it on the clean metal Hood underside, you spray it on the foam, you let both sides dry, spray a quick dusting on the foam and then boom and stick on contact. You have to get it positioned exactly right the first time cuz you don't get a second chance

thank you. I'll have to contact 3M and get the story straight. I read, on a airplane modelling forum, that they change the formulation of spray 77 so it no longer works with foam, not sure if that's true or not.

There are different sorts of foam, too what dissolves a polystyrene foam might not affect a neoprene or urethane foam.
