5er Front Jack repair

I had one jack that would go down but not up... New jacks are quite spendy so I opted to see if it was fixable.. Turns out it is run by two bevel gears and there was enough end play to allow the gears to disengage (actually due to handle pressure) Realitivley easy to disassemble, put a couple of small shims between the gear and the tube.. Wholla, works like new.. Anyone trying and having problems drop me a note and I can get more specific.
