70's 13' Scamp, wheel-to-wheel dimensions

Heading on a 4-hour drive this weekend to pick up a sadly neglected 70's, 13' Scamp. It's been sitting for a number of years, and rather than hope and pray it's either already in towable condition or can be made so easily with hand tools in the auto store parking lot, my wife and I are going to rent a flat-bed trailer to haul it back home. Since it's cheaper to rent a trailer from a local equipment rental store than it is to rent a one-way U-Haul, we'll be doing that. In order to rent the right trailer size, I need to know the width from the outside of one tire to the outside of the other. Can anyone help with that?

When I ordered a new axle for my 1977 13' the distance between the axle hub faces was 63.25 inches.

When I enter 175/80R13 says the tires are 6.9 inches wide.

Half of that will hang out each edge, so I would add 63.25 + 6.9 to get 70 inches (and a scootch)

Just remember the body of the trailer is 80” wide, so if the flatbed trailer has sidewalls or fenders that rise above the load floor, there might be interference. The shell curves in at the bottom of course, but it’s still wider than the wheels.
