7100 BTU Domentic AC shroud

It's a Dometic, Duo-Therm, Brisk Air, 7100 BTU. Came with our 1996 17' Big Foot, and now these shrouds are discontinued. Online for hours, and all similar shrouds are larger. Any ideas where I can find one?

Over the years I have been in many RV shops around the country.
The places which do A/C repair almost always have a stock of reconditioned units and shelf full of used shrouds.

Last year I had no trouble finding a shroud for my 1999 Casita's Brisk Air 7180 btu unit
Do you have the Dometic number.
Here's one on e-bay that says pre 2000.

Now that you have your new shroud...
When you install your new shroud...
1] discard the old fender washers which were used to install the original shroud.
2] go buy a length of 2" wide aluminum flat stock.
3]cut it to make two pieces the length of the top of the shroud.
4] drill holes in the aluminum to fit over the mounting bolts.
5] install these "full length washers" using the original acorn nuts.

This will provide a secure fit and prevent the shroud from cracking around the washers and being blown off onto the highway.
