Now that you have your new shroud...
When you install your new shroud...
1] discard the old fender washers which were used to install the original shroud.
2] go buy a length of 2" wide aluminum flat stock.
3]cut it to make two pieces the length of the top of the shroud.
4] drill holes in the aluminum to fit over the mounting bolts.
5] install these "full length washers" using the original acorn nuts.
This will provide a secure fit and prevent the shroud from cracking around the washers and being blown off onto the highway.
