'82 17' boler with RM 422 Dometic fridge part

We bought our '82 17' boler a few years ago and it came with a loose part that we believe is associated with the gas flow to the fridge. We've already confirmed that the fridge works on AC and are just testing out DC today, but are not sure what this part is. We have a Dometic RM422 fridge. Here's several pictures of the part. We'd appreciate any insight you could provide into what this part is and where it gets installed. Thx in advance. Joy

That looks like a pressure relief valve for your water heater.
