I mentioned awhile back that we were having vinyl cover's made for the windows on our 83 Burro to help keep the water out when traveling. The Canvas maker got behind schedule and only managed to get the front window done. Thought I would show you what we have so far as some asked to see pics when complete; we have the rear and 2 side windows to do next month. (We had a "Burro" graphic made in white vinyl, yet to be applied)

Wow! Put those on and you could sleep as late as you like or not be bothered by Walmart/Truckstop lights when overnighting. Pretty Cool! Will also save your interior from UV Damage.

Why was water getting in? Were the windows not sealed well?

We used stainless steel turnbuckles- like you would use on a boat.

The plexiglass tended to flex and let water leak in when traveling at highway speeds in the rain. I thought the canvas might also help when the Burro is stored in winter.

Actually we stripped and re-painted with marine boat paint as some on this site have done.
