86 Playmor II

I’m looking for a front window for a 86 Playmor fiberglass camper, and possibly a water tank. I don’t know where to find these items as Playmor doesn’t have any.

You should find a good replacement window from Hehr, or possibly Sunsetter. They both have a pretty wide selection of styles and sizes. Playmor undoubtedly used a standard model from an RV window manufacturer and these are the only two I know.

WHICH model of the Play-MOR? The larger one which looks like a square boler or Amerigo and needs a wide Jalousie window? Or the 13' that looks like a boler or Scamp and needs a plexiglass window?

On water tank, Amazon sells hundreds of them. Just measure the size of your space and pick one out. This is what I will do eventually on my 1977 Trillium. IMO, there is no need to get an "exact" replacement.

Thanks for all the information. I will try to find a window following your ideas, I have a Playmor II. It’s small, I think 13 feet including the hitch. The plastic water tank is inside the closet so I’m thinking it has a leak but it’s cold here in Wisconsin and it’s snowed a lot. Just bought it as is.

It’s a plexiglass window for sure.

You should be able to have any auto windshield shop make one up for you, and have them replace the rubber at the same time.

My 86 PlayMor has Jalousie windows all the way around. I need to replace gaskets (plastic trim pieces) on the individual louvers of the windows. There are so many types of these - does anyone know which type fits these windows. I know it is sometimes hard to find the right one.

Love my PlayMor. Pulls like a dream.

I am aware of this site and they have several types. I was just hoping someone knew the exact ones without my taking windows out before ordering. Probably that is what I will have to do. Thanks for your reply.

Eddie, that is hard to do. The windows on these trailers could change depending upon what was available to use when the trailer was being built. When I finally tracked down some of the seals for my trailer I found that my Hehr Jalousie windows used some different seals than someone else's exact same model year, make and model of trailer. I would recommend looking at what is on your trailer and compare it to any diagrams showing on the website. One other thing you could do is to look for the model number of the window. It should be stamped somewhere on the frame. Keep in mind you may have to remove trim to find it. Another thing you could do is either order an existing sampler pack of seals that are offered or ask if you could purchase small pieces of the seals so you can verify they are correct.
