What is the brand and model of the A/C?
There is likely someone here with expertise on RV A/C , until they speak up here are a couple of things which could cause the problem..
Check your condenser to be sure it is clean and that the fan is free to turn.
Shut the unit off and let it sit for a few hours to clear the evaporator and make sure the fan blows through it without obstruction.
That's the free stuff.
If it seems to run without catching up a minor leak could be the problem,
you might be low on freon which is the most common reason for freeze up.
Have it checked for
leaks and for charge.
If it has charge ports (some new ones don't) you might add a little freon yourself, if it works good for a while then starts freezing again, its likely a leak. Check the schrader valves in the ports to be sure they are snug.
Less likely it could be a defective compressor which can't keep up or even low voltage (check the power supply).
