Hi. Some of you may have read the problems I posted that I had with my Toyota Tacoma pickup after towing an 89 Scamp. I had bought the wrong electrical hookup at Northern Hydraulics. I couldn't get the Tacoma in gear and the signal lights didn't work after arriving home.

After getting a different vehicle, an 08 Chev Silverado 1500, I am afraid to tow the 89 Scamp. I called Scamp yesterday and they said I may have a short in the Scamp. Is that possible? The Chev dealer told me to haul the Scamp to them and they would put the right electrical hook up on it.

Any suggestions?

This could be another use for the FlashCube®. If the lights on the trailer work independently using this device, then I would rule out a short in the Scamp. If they don't work using this device, then you know the problem is in the trailer.
