AC

We really enjoy our 25RQ. After using it for two years one thing I would like to do is increase the cooling in the bedroom. When we are by ourselves the AC does fine. Sometimes we take a grandchild or three with us, when doing this we close the divider for the bedroom, then it gets hot quick.

I'm toying with the idea of installing a floor standing room ac unit with the ducting ran under the bed out through the floor. It would still allow easy access to the bed, available outlet and could be removed when children aren't with us. Haven't looked at the amp draw of these units yet so that may be a factor to consider if extra wiring is involved.

Anyone out there tried this yet?

We have one for the house rated for 900 sq. ft. vents through the wall, is cools it fine, draw will depend on unit size you get.
