access to fresh water valve on Scamp 13

we are looking for a way to view the water level of the tank without having to move bedding. Does anyone have a solution? We also would like to be able to reach the valve to turn off and on. Has anyone put a drain valve on the exterior drain hose.

I added a door from the outside, but it could be done from inside also.

I had a drain valve fail when mine was new. I plugged the hose on the outside only to find that the water seeped out onto the wood that is the floor. The drain hose is just slipped over the valve and not clamped because it needs to rotate in the hose.

Five ended up buying a cheap tank level sensor and that's what I'm going to be putting in shortly. In part for that very reason.

water level indicator

The drain for my water tank comes out the back of my trailer instead of through the floor.
I have contemplated putting a T on the drain with a clear tube running up vertically. It would show the water level.
I haven't done it, yet.
I've seen a post someone that rigged up the vertical tube inside the trailer in a visible spot.

Our first trailer (a 'sticky', with no monitor system) had the fresh water tank under the bench of the dinette. I cut a slot in the ply panel to give visual of the tank. Crude, but it worked.
