All purpose table

I'd like to take along a good, LIGHTWEIGHT, all-purpose table for...cooking, eating, writing, etc. outside my Casita, under the awning. I already have one of the older steel and fibreboard L.L.Bean camp tables. It folds very neatly, but weighs half a ton. Card tables seem a little flimsy. Anybody got any ideas about what would be a good solution here? (It would be stored in the back of my truck.)

We have a folding aluminum table we got at Costco a year or so ago. The bottom is very similar to the folding chairs that are common now (scissor-fold type). The top is composed of aluminum slats connected with elastic cords. The whole things folds down to practically nothing and weighs about as much. It's big enough to seat all four of us (cozy), and can also accomodate our portable coleman stove and it's small propane tank. Probably about 30 inches square. We take it in the Boler - and also on trips to the drive-in movies. :)

It was made by Maccabee sports which has folded into the above company. There's what appears to be an identical table listed under "Mac featherlite" - now THESE are some people who know what 'light' really means! :)

Consider this a hearty endorsement of the tables. Ours has recieved some serious use and abuse over the last year and is working great. It's the perfect size - big enough to handle the whole family - just the right size to take our portable stove. Folds down into a nice small package that I tend to shove under the back table in transit. Wipes down clean in a snap too.

We have this table and its great. Purchased at Costco for $19.95. It fits in our dinette in our 17' Liberty, but we can seat 4 in our dinette because we ordered new mattresses and that gave us more room during the day when the dinette is in use.. (had to buy new seat cushions 7" wider to sit on.) So before purchasing you might need to measure for the space you have if you want to use it inside too.

Inside our 17' Liberty. It can be turned either way and height is adjustable. When we aren't using it in the dinette it stands up against our refrigerator in the entrance.. not at all in the way.

We bought a great table from camping world that has variable adjustable legs so that you can level it exactly level in almost any campsite.

It has a table surface that is good for high temperatures - up to 300 or 350 degrees, something like that.

We've been very pleased with it, as the construction is solid and the levelling ability is far better than we had hoped when we bought it out of the catalog.

they don't tell the dementions of that table. do you happen to know off hand? if I'm reading it right, it only tells height adjustments.
