Antenna

The original boosted directional antenna on my 1999 16 ft Scamp is ailing. The directional function is broken. Normally I would try and replace it, nothing normal these days. I live 40 minutes from Bacchus, enjoy seeing all the Folks at the plant, Aaron takes care of me. I will call and try and schedule an install. REALLY looking forward to this season!

> rotating antenna

Is it mechanical or electrical rotating?
Mechanical: Signal cable broken from the movement
Electrical: One or more of the elements not making connection or broken.

My Scamp is currently sitting in a retired Turkey farm 15 miles from home. It is a mechanical with directional knobs inside that extend and than rotate. There is a lit power boost inside. Not sure about the manufacturer. I’ll pick her up in two weeks. Seventy degrees today in MN, looking forward to some ‘rat fur’ dreams!

I also have the King and it never turned well. Finally it quit receiving signals. When I took it apart I found a pinched wire in the works.
