Antenna??

On our 2014 15 ft Trillium Outback there is a tv antenna hook up on the plate with the 12v plug on the back of the pantry. I can not find any hook up outside on the trailer body? PS. when I tried to put my dual usb adapter into the socket on the 12 volt it sparked and blew it up. removed the plate and found the polarity was reversed. The one on the kitchen side was also not working and I found the hot wire on the base had fallen off. Strange because the wire had no ring terminal and appeared it was stripped and just wound around the terminal post!

Picture? That sounds like the plate that would go to the roof antenna and amplifier for off air reception. Any damage on the roof where there may have been one? If I found wiring problems like that I'd inspect the whole RV for other problems.

Smile 2014 Trillium Solar

Yes, I had a problem with the Bargeman/ Standard RV conversion. As a former HVAC mechanic, I am very adapt at using a Fluke Digital Meter. While replacing the tail lights. Someone replaced the right tail light before and it was always dull compared to the left one. I had to switch the green and brown wires. On RV Standard the brown was listed as tail light and clearance (side) lights but on the Bargeman it is green. I just replaced the old LED ones for a waterproof Marine set from Amazon. The Fluke is polarized sensitive and will tell you if the polarity is reversed. It is hard when you are working with LED because you can't get a resistance reading like you can with a bulb. Thanks' for the reply
