Anyone need Dometica Parts?

I yanked out the little Dometica fridge and put in a new one. The thought of paying something like $200 for parts and labor to repair the old one did not seem like a good idea when a new one would go in for free.

Now, does anyone need Dometica door shelves? I seem to recall those are pricey to replace. They are 16" clip to clip, came out of a 2300 and fit a RM2353/2352. One or both are yours for the postage.

You could have the door, too. Or wiring. Any old thing you want me to hack off of it.

What is the color and condition of the front panel? Do you know if it will fit in a Dometic RM2353 refrigerator? On the RM2353, the panel comes out pretty easily after removing the frame piece across the bottom. It's only held on by 3 screws.

Well, I see you dug up a very old post...it's from 2003! At this point, we don't even know who the original poster was..."Legacy Post" is the giveaway.

FYI: Anything with Legacy Post came to the forum prior to November 12, 2005.

Welcome to FiberglassRV!

:-) Hi Donna. Guess i was just so excited to find the post that it didn't even occur to me to check the date. Thanks for pointing it out. I will no longer be waiting, with "baited breath", for a response to my inquiry! Thanks again. Terri

You're welcome and by the way, since the front panel is removable on these refers you can replace it with just about anything that's the same or smaller thickness. We've seen replacement panels made out of diamond plate, acrylic mirror, wallpaper covered fiberboard, painted with chalkboard paint, etc. It's one area that you can really put your creativity to use. No real need to get something from the "factory."
