Awning size for 15 foot trailer

Hello. We are about to order an awning, and wondering if anyone knows the recommended size for a 15 foot camper.
Our rail for the awning is 9 feet 2 inches.
I think the usual awning is 8 feet long, but we'd like to get one made that is 10 feet long.
Would this be ok, or is that two extra feet not recommended?
Any input would be really appreciated.
Thanks!!

Here's a plan B to consider

No, I don't sell CLAM screened rooms, but they seem to offer much more than an awning, probably for less. This brand really does open in 45 seconds, offers protection from insects, and can be placed next to, or farther from your RV. With small fiberglass RV's this gives you the living/dining room you are not towing around in larger trailers. Read the Amazon comments for raves. Wall panels available. Get a carpet or rug for a floor. Search CLAM screen house

This one is nominally 12x12'

My only advice is; if you buy a Shademaker bag awning go for the Supreme model and buy the optional center rafter.

I found an old Carefree bag awning that was 9'.
I think you can get the shademaker in a 9' length.
If you go with a 10' bag awning the bag is a few inches longer than the awning on each end - the ends will be flapping in the breeze if you travel with the bag awning attached to the rail.
