Bargman L400 fixed

My lock was opening and closing just fine, it just wouldn’t stay locked.
I brought it to a locksmith who just returned it saying it’s worn out. Wasn’t taking no for an answer so I brought to my ex who has an incredible talent for figuring things out.

I thought I would post what worked in case someone else is having the same issue. It was a simple fix really. Tools required: hammer.

The part with the arrow had to be pressed in so that it helped to hold that mechanism in place. It kept slipping under the metal.

Not really sure how to explain it. But simply having that make a better connection allowed the lock to stay in the locked position.
