Battery problem

Camping without power, our 3 way works just fine on propane, but it blows out while moving. We start out with a cold, full refrigerator. It will stay that way for at least two hours, turned off. If you'll be traveling longer, turn it on after your rest stop and off again at the next one. Don't leave it running with the engine off. It's worked for us for the past 11 years.

Many people believe and strenuously argue that running on the fridge on propane is unsafe when on the road. That horse has been beaten so many times that even if the horse had nine lives like a cat, he still would have been beaten to death 100 times over. I will not be participating in that discussion.

For others, as Lynn mentioned above, the fridge just does not work very well on propane when traveling. (Mine works quite well, YMMV).
