Hi Chad Welcome to FiberglassRV

Well, you're in luck. We just happen to have some pictures of a Beachcomber AND a picture of the original brochure in our Albums

The brochure says 1450 lbs and tongue weight of 125. Click this link for more info:

That's great. Unfortunately the trailer is in very rough shape. the entire interior has to be gutted due to severe water damage. The roof vent and the rear window leaked all over the place so pretty much all the interior pannels are wrecked. On the plus side, the stove, furnace and fridge still work. Really, i cant complain...I got a heck of a deal. With a little work it should be a great little trailer. Im looking foreward to taking it out this summer.

We have a number of members that have had to completely redo the interior of their trailers. Or choose to make major interior changes for comfort levels.

Please keep us posted on your progress, we love to look at pictures

Just a word of advice (for what it's worth), don't get so tangled up with the redo that you forget what you purchased the trailer for. Get it roadworthy and safe to tow, clean and leak free...and use it! If no other way than a hardsided tent.

Chad,
Welcome and congratulations.
You have a golden opportunity, once the clean up has been accomplished.
Please take Donna's advice seriously, about using your Beachcomber. Even if it means sleeping on the floor with sleeping bags. That's the best way to get a mental image of what the end result should be. Rather than doing it the way someone else thought, the trailer can be made to fit your needs.
Enjoy the process of "making a silk purse out of a sow's ear", and please document the process. As Donna said, we love to pictures.

How much did you get your Beachcomber. The reason I'm asking is that I'm considering buying one. There's one for sale here for $3,000 Cdn.
Folks, is this a good price? It needs some reno. Thanks.

Oh dear I paid 10,000 for mine!
I may have paid way too much but it a sweet little trailer. Needs some new paint on the outside.

So glad to find others who own this trailer!
