I want to remove the black plastic part from the belly band of my Trillium 1300. I tried pushing it, pulling it, with and without pliers! I tried from both ends. It didn't work.
Is there any trick to remove it without destroying it?

Try putting some heat on it with a blow drier or heat gun (low setting). It will become more soft and pliable. If you do have to replace it, make sure you buy a roll at least 52 feet long to get from door edge to door edge. I bought a 50' roll and ended up 15 inchs short! (not counting the dor)

Just a heads up, but I've found that this stuff expands in the heat n contracts in cooler weather, so, depending on your thoughts on this, you might want to cut this stuff a little on the long side, especially the piece for the door! You can always re-trim later.....
