Question big foot 21

I have a very damaged propane and battery cover and have done all the fiberglass repair but with the door in such poor shape I'd like to replace the whole cover with a used one, or new on if not to expensive. any ideas?

My 19 ft Bigfoot came with a flimsy propane cover which flew off while towing on the Freeway. I could not find a replacement cover for a decent price, and decided to cover the propane tanks with a CAMCO propane cover, and locate the deep cell batteries behind the propane tanks. It actually worked much better for me than the original cover.

I now have a BF21RB trailer. My biggest problem whenever I dry camp is that I cannot safely place an inverter generator on the rear of the trailer.

If you dry camp regularly, you can used this situation as an opportunity to inhabce your tongue area to accommodate boon docking.

Depending on the measurements of your tongue area, you can:
  1. install a storage container behind the propane tanks
  2. replace your lead acid batteries with a lithium battery and relocate (install) it under your dinette seat;
  3. place a backup, duel fuel generator in the storage area

Because I Dry Camp, upgrading to a lithium battery (Battleborn) was a great decision. I recently added 3 100W solar panels and it’s worked out great. Still, I wish I could bring along a backup generator.
