We were camping on the coast this weekend and had left the outdoor grill at home, so I used the rear left burner to fry. I put a sheet of aluminum foil over the pan to keep the grease from spattering. The wallpaper on the left wall near the rear burner blistered from the heat.
Anyone seen this before? Have you used your rear left burner on relatively high heat? Was it heat deflected leftwards by the aluminum foil?
I had to go out to the Boler to look -- we have some sort of brown laminate sheeting there, cut to fit. I use the rear burner on high all the time (heating water for dishes, etc.) and have had no problems - so far! (Knock on fake wood.)

I'd appreciate any thoughts --- Roger H?

Hey Eric ! I have had two similar incidents that were from previous owners with two different trailers...I'm not sure if it was your tin foil or not but here's what I did to fix it. I went to my local dollar store and bought some tin tiles or trivets. They look like shiny stainless tiles. I removed the old wallpaper and replaced it with faux stainless steel contact paper available at Home Depot or even Walmart then I glued the tiles on the contact paper with a product called Weldbond....It looked great and modern...and I haven't had any other issues since. The back of these tiles are cardboard covered by the metal...Lightweight and clean up in a snap.I'll hunt and see if I have a photo to post...happy trails Mitch
