Boler Couch - anyone have a photo (Front Gaucho)

On a Boler, the long thin banana piece is used to keep the top bunk at a slant when it`s down and to shorten the depth of the bottom cushion from your knees to your butt when you`re sitting on it and is wider for use for sleeping when the top bunk is up.... and the slant, so it`s more comfortable to lean back on as opposed to being 90 degrees to the cushion when sitting.....Benny

I use the banana as a lumbar support . So its out 90% of the time.

Just wondering if you could fold the material down to make a "waist" type thing and then put in elastic or roping with a toggle clasp. That way it would be easy to remove when needed.
