Boler hinges revisited

Greetings!

As I get around to restoring the door hardware on my '71 Boler renovation, I'm thinking that I'd like to use better hardware than original. I'm considering a Bargman A300 flush-mounted door handle, and an upgrade to the hinges.

Scamp makes a ball/spring/pin hinge that is a relatively similar replacement to the original Boler set-up. But I'd like to use something like those used on Trilliums (Kason 139) or the perhaps more generic Flush strap hinge. (See all below.)

Does the curve of the Boler entry door prohibit the use of strap-styled hinges?
