Hi there,
So the previous owner of my
Boler jammed all of the interior seams of the Ensolite with silicone caulking - feathered out up to an inch or two wide in some places. No primer will stick to it and as a result the previous owner’s
paint job has chipped away at all of the seams. Removing the silicone seems ridiculously daunting. The interior looks pretty terrible with the unpainted silicone exposed.
Would it be ridiculous to cut a 2” strip out at every seam joint and then replace with a 2” strip of something else? Recommendations for “something else” appreciated.
Also appreciated are other possible solutions to render my interior paintable.
Thanks in advance!
Karen
