Weird question but I need to drill holes in the Boler emblems I had cast. Just need to know what size rivet holds them on (they are the same rivet that also holds on the middle curtain rod holders).
From my searches here they come up with 3/16" rive diameter but this size is too large for the holes in the original emblem I used as a mold that seems to fit a maximum of a 5/32" drill bit which is too small for the 3/16" rivet to fit through ?

1/8th" pop rivets are the most common in the world outside of fiberglass RVs, be sure and use aluminum rivets to avoid breaking your new emblems.
This thread is old enough that it doesn't really need corrections except that I was also trying to figure this out, since our local hardware chain only sells 1/8" and 3/16". I did discover that I can get 5/32" at some other locations which require some travel. I just want to mention that the 4mm is a 5/32" not a 5/16" to perhaps save confusion for future searchers.
Hi Kurt, May I ask how/where you had your Boler emblems cast? We were thinking of sourcing some but I haven't been able to find any yet.
