boler roof vent installation

I have a new to me 13ft Boler and the roof vent has been sealed shut to stop leaking. I would like to install a regular vent but a larger 14 inch not the small one that is currently on my boler. My question is how easy will it be to install it. I will have to enlarge the hole so I will be cutting the hole larger (easy?)

A jigsaw will easily do the trick. You will probably have to drill out the rivets to remove the old vent.

Use butyl tape for your seal (see attached video)

You can cut a larger hole and install a regular vent or a fantastic fan.
