I ordered a bottom door bar hook for my 13 ft Scamp, thinking it would help to keep the door shape in tact, but I have no clue on where or how to install it. I thought Scamp might send some sort of instructions, but they did not. can any one give me a clue on the installation of this piece.

Steve, Iown a 2007 13' Scamp and don't have a clue as to what you are referring to as a "bottom door hook". Is it associated with the screen door? I have a small bar at the bottom of my screen door, no such hook on my main fiberglass door. Ron

Steve,

Here is a picture of the "hook" installed below the threshold. It guides and holds the outter fiberglass door in place.

When I took mine off (5+ years ago), it was crusty and rusty and gross. Didn't replace it, don't have any problems because of its missing either.

Your mileage may vary.

This installed, still allows for the door to open? Looking at picture it appears it would interfere?
