Butyl chalk

Saw some butyl chalk on a jobsite used for industrial freezer panels didn't know if anyone has used similar product for sealing windows instead of tape.

Butyl caulk is regularly used by RV owners to seal all sorts of potential leak spots on trailers. It’s some sticky stuff but works well if surface is clean, and the surfaces involved mate up with a uniform or slightly flexible gap. That’s been my experience.
